The integrated academic program at Aaron Academy is standards-based and allows access for a diverse population of learners through the DUAL CORE Curriculum. This DUAL CORE curriculum integrates hard (content concepts) and inter-personal skills insuring that students learn critical thinking, collaborating and problem solving as part of content area learning. Principles of 21st Century Learning provide the framework for the integrated curriculum and Universal Design Learning principles guide the development of differentiated and individualized access points for Academy students.

The curriculum is project-based thereby enabling students to use the core content concepts to learn related skills in math, science, and language arts. Using an integrated curriculum model in Middle School our students are actively engaged in developing learning goals, exploring new areas of interest and self-evaluation.
